Several years ago, I encountered a book by William Fay entitled “Share
Jesus Without Fear”. I purchased the book along with an audio CD
recording of a seminar of William interactively presenting
the method. “Share Jesus Without Fear” also comes as a small-group study as a kit with instructional video and workbooks. William points out, with corroboration from seminar attendees’
confessions, that many people are afraid to share their faith. Several
very common reasons are 1) they fear inadequacy and rejection, 2) they don’t know where
to begin, 3) they don’t want to offend the person, or 4) they might ask
a question I don’t know the answer to. I am not very good at
responding to even a small confrontation of debate. My mind seems to
freeze up, so reason #4 is probably my biggest concern.
There is nothing wrong with admitting you don't have an answer, but it doesn't mean that you fail. The failure would be not searching for the answer (ask someone, study the bible, watch a video, or whatever is needed) and getting back to the person you are witnessing to with that answer.
The Share Jesus method is fairly simple to follow. William begins with five diagnostic questions to ask the person you wish to witness to. With a little practice, they can be worked into any conversation.

The Share Jesus method is fairly simple to follow. William begins with five diagnostic questions to ask the person you wish to witness to. With a little practice, they can be worked into any conversation.
* Do you have any spiritual beliefs?
* To you, who is Jesus Christ?
* Do you believe in heaven and hell?
* If you died today, where would you go? (And providing if they answer “heaven”, a follow up of “Why would God let you in?”).
* The final question is: “If what you believe is wrong, would you want to know?”

If the person answers that they would want to know, (he says in the seminar he hasn’t had a negative answer that stuck), you then hand them your bible using about 6 verses he suggests. After going through each passage and interacting on each one, you then ask follow up questions which leads to asking if they are ready to accept Jesus as Savior.
The method also includes a special way of marking your bible, and by handing it to the person, they are reading the verses and then telling you what it means in their own words. Although he suggests specific verses to use in your witnessing, he readily advises if you don’t care for or aren’t comfortable using any of them then you are free to use something more suitable to you. As a result, though quite a few are the same as William suggested, I chose my own scriptures to use which I have listed below.
If you are reading this, and you are not a Christian or are not certain of your standing with Christ, I invite you to read these. If you feel the need to, look the references up in your own bible. Read them aloud. As you read each one, repeat to yourself in your own words what they mean.

- John 14:6
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

If you are a Christian, and haven't found a way of sharing your faith with others, I encourage you to check out Share Jesus Without Fear. I would recommend purchasing the book as it is more detailed on the method than what I have posted here as well as having additional aids and recommendations, but at least listen to the lecture by purchasing the $4 audio CD often available on Amazon.
If you are not now a Christian, but you are ready to receive that salvation freely offered because no one can earn it, simply tell Jesus. He's always ready. Then find a solid biblical Church which is necessary for growth in your new life.
